Another exciting Impact ID Camp took place over the weekend at Greenville Rose High School. If you know anything about Greenville Rose baseball, it never disappoints in this area and neither did Sunday’s camp. Check out the action below…

Top 5 Prospects:

1. Davis Halstead, OF, John A. Holmes – 2022 Grad
Davis is a good look athlete (pictured above). He’s a physical strong right handed hitter who can play. He ran a 6.88 and would show 91 mph exit velocity. Watching Davis in the outfield move around during BP, you can tell his speed really plays out there as a lock down defender. Watch for Mr. Halstead as the year continues to develop.

2. Ivan Sierra, INF, Garner – 2022 Grad
Ivan had a great day at camp. He projects as a corner infielder (in my opinion) at the next level. He shows arm strength on the mound and in the infield (87 mph). He stands around 6’1 190 pounds with a strong physical build. At the plate he starts with a slightly open stance that hammers balls middle in. Look for Mr. Sierra to have a big impact at Garner this year under Coach Goffena and Coach Baker.

3. Jordan Wright, INF/OF, Rocky Mount Academy – 2024 Grad
Jordan is a hitter! He has some bat speed at such a young age. Jordan will find his way into a line up because he can really hit. Jordan can play in the corner outfield or stick at 3B in the future. There is alot to like with Mr. Wright.

4. Jaylend Clemmons, OF, South Brunswick – 2022 Grad
Jaylend showed very well on Sunday! He would run a 7.0 in the sixty and also showed 87 mph exit velocity during BP. The best part about Mr. Clemmons, is he still has room to fill out in the frame. His better days are ahead in the game.

5. Finley Spicer, INF/OF, Union Pines – 2022 Grad
This was a name I haven’t heard or seen before, but Mr. Spicer caught my eye quickly. Where I really liked him was in the box. The Right Handed Hitter would juice balls all over the yard. He’s a strong dude that’s going hammer balls at Union Pines this year.

Just missed –

Elliot Melind, INF, New Hanover – 2023 Grad
We always talk about making jumps as a baseball player. Needless to say, this is what Elliot has done over the past couple years. He would run a 6.89 and also show 84 mph arm strength across the diamond. Melind showed very good action in the middle along with good footwork.
