Hunter: What are your expectations for this year?
Levi: My expectations for this summer is to help out the team as much as I can. I want to push kids to be the great I want them to push me to be great. I feel like this year will be a great year for me personally I’ve hit the weights in the winter and I can tell while I’m playing, that I’m a lot stronger then last summer.
Hunter: What have you done to prepare for the season during Covid?
Levi: Preparing was definitely different, I have had more time to get in the gym. Building muscle on my long lanky body has helped me perform a lot better during my school season. Also during COVID I have really studied some of the mentality/ mindset of the game like what to think when your hitting and preparing when I’m in the field for a ball hit to me.
Hunter: How are practices different with all the protocols?
Levi: It was very different because we couldn’t get in the weight room as a team. Practices on the field were also very different we couldn’t touch the same ball as other people and stuff like that.
Hunter: What are you most excited for in the upcoming season?
Levi: I’m excited to see all the boys this summer. We will be with each other all summer and hopefully build a brother hood. Also I’m exited to be playing against the best competition.
Hunter: What’s ONE word that can describe your team?
Levi: Relentless because we don’t get satisfied. We don’t stop because we all want to be on top. I personally think winning a state champ would be great but the thing is we will want to when one the next year then the next.
Hunter: What is your favorites thing about school ball?
Levi: My favorite thing about school ball is playing with your friends from like 5. We have fun on the bud rides down and back, we are also pushing each other and I love the competitiveness we all have against each other.
