Game 1: Dirtbags 14u Gold vs Dirtbags 15u Select
Carter Catlett (2024 Randleman High School LHP) was able to keep hitters in fits all morning, Worked a bottom of the zone fastball in the mid 60’s, and forced a ton of ground balls. Noah Cannady (2025 Wando High School) had multiple hard hit balls, and showed athleticism on the basepaths.
Cooper Minnix (2024 Vinton HS LHP) had a mature delivery and demeanor. Throw a ton of strikes with both a cutting fastball, and sweeping breaking ball. Connor Berry (2024 West Forsyth HS) brought physicality to the plate, and drove the ball the other way to knock in 3 runs on the morning. James Bradberry (2024 Wake Forest HS) had impressive plate appearances. Quick hands, short barrel to the ball, and balance through his finish.
Game 2: Dirtbags 15u Futures vs Dirtbags 14u Black
Sunil Lindsay (2024 Cary Academy RHP) was moving both his fastball and breaking ball well. Fastball topped at 72 with late run, and he mixed in a low 60’s breaking ball in and out of the zone effectively. Sterling Haynes (2024 TC Roberson RHP) is a two-way kid in the future. Commanded his fastball and breaking ball well with clean arm action throughout the morning. At the plate, he burned the 3rd basemen for a sharp single, then showed his quickness on the basepaths with a stolen base on the first pitch of the next AB.
Aiden Kitchings (2025 RHP) was very clean in his delivery. Snapped off a 12/6 breaking ball for a few strikeouts while mixing his fastball around the zone in the mid to upper 60’s. Will Craddock (2025 TL Hanna High School) and CJ Gray (2025 AL Brown High School) did some damage at the plate as well. Craddock showed some pop in his bat on a deep sac fly, and Gray flashed a very mature swing, barrelling up everything he got his bat on. Cade Mixon (2025 Arendell Parrott Academy RHP) was repeating smooth mechanics in his outing today. Fastball was in the upper 60’s and his breaking ball was falling in and out of the zone hard.
Game 3: Purpose Driven vs Dirtbags 16u Punchout
Raleigh Homeschool 2024 grad Ian Bailey generated some clean action in game 3. Fastball in the upper 70’s with a sharp slider that produced a ton of groundouts early. Anthony Jones (2023 Triton HS) had a big day at the plate. An opposite field triple, and two hard hit singles for Jones on the day.
JT Taylor (2023 Salisbury HS) was one of the most athletic kids on the field today. Hit multiple balls hard and covered the entire strike zone. Stole two bases, and made a sick play from the 6 hole, laying completely out behind second base and made a hard clean throw to nail a runner by 3 steps. 2023 grad Will Atkinson (Holly Springs HS) was effective today as well. Big frame with more to add on. Top fastball was 75, and swept a slider across the plate and on the corners at 63. Luke Stevenson (2023 Wake Forest HS) was easily the best hitter on the day. A lot of swings with intent, including a 338 1/2 foot line drive triple that kicked hard off the wall pull side. Definitely a name to keep up with for a while.
Field: Swepsonville

80-82, Mixing a good change up and breaking ball. Stayed real composed on the mound not getting rattled by baserunners. Very projectable arm that I would keep my eye on.
Peyton Kowalski (2023 Walkertown HS 1B)
Long Athletic build with room to fill out. Peyton has an outstanding ability to barrel the ball up. Smooth balanced left handed swing, Had a multiple hit game with a big double.
Jacob’e Hooks (2021 Atkins HS OF)
Big strong athletic player that has a ton of potential. Played a good CF and and really stands out on the field. Jacob’e could possibly be a game changing base runner as he showed a good feel for stealing bases.

Ethan Plyer (East Tenn State Commit) (2021 River Bluff HS INF)
Ethan stood out here for LBC both days. Plays smooth defense at 2B and SS today, with a game changing bat. He showed a good feel for letting the ball get deep and keeping his hands inside the ball.
Beau Hollins (2024 River Bluff HS 1B)
Hollins is a switch hitting first baseman that can flat out hit with pop. Swings from both sides of the plate are balanced and powerful. This guy will be a big time player.
Hinson Wilson (2021 Cardinal Gibbons HS RHP)
Was 86-88 T89, kept hitters off balance all day. Above average feel for a arm side sinking FB with command, also mixed in a nice breaking ball. This will be a steal for someone, still uncommitted.

Game 1:
Ben Ratley – Power Baseball 2024/2023/North Davidson HS/SS
Athletic kid with a very good frame. In the games today, he showed good actions at shortstop making two good plays on slow rollers hit to him. He also was able to show off the arm strength on a little backhand play.
Kennan Lewis – Dirtbags 15U Platinum VA/2024/Chatham HS/RHP
Showed his competitiveness by going the distance for his team and picking up the win. Used a three-pitch mix that he was very confident in. His fastball was 72-74 touching 75, breaking pitch 62-63 for strikes, and showed a changeup a few times that was 64-66.
Game 2:
Nick Hawkins – Power Baseball 2024/2023/Rockingham County HS/3B
Good sized athlete that put the ball in play in both games today. In the box he showed he had some balance and was able to use the barrel. On defense he was able to demonstrate his arm strength on an unassisted 5u-3 double play.
Colbey Weeks – Dirtbags 15U Showcase/2024/ Heritage HS/ OF
Demonstrated feel and confidence in the box. He has a good sense of a rhythm and load that works for him. The confidence showed in his plate discipline when he took advantage of a 3-1 count and hit a bases clearing double to deep right field.
Game 3:
Nicholas Henry – Dirtbags 15U Showcase/2024/Union Academy/SS
Athletic built shortstop that has a good first step. Made some good plays at shortstop and showed a good arm. May not have gotten the results at the plate he would like but stuck with it all day and had good balance and path to the ball.
Max Schmidly – South Charlotte Braves/2023/Myers Park/RHP
Plus frame on this right-hander that went the distance for his team to get the win. Worked on both sides of the plate with his fastball (76-78 T79). His fastball was the pitch that he used for most of the day but did show a breaking pitch that was 68-70.
Game 4:
Alex Van Pelt – Dirtbags 15U Platinum VA/2024/Chatham HS/RHP
Was able to keep hitters off balance in his outing by moving his fastball (76-78 T79) all over the zone. He did use a curveball (60-62) when he needed it. He also displayed confidence in what he was trying to do on the mound.
Cole Green – Dirtbags Chin Music/2024/Sun Valley HS/ SS/RHP
At shortstop he showed good actions moving and fielding groundballs, with a strong arm to compliment those actions. Coming in late in the game he worked with a quick tempo to make the hitters feel uneasy. His good arm translated from shortstop to the mound with his fastball sitting 79-81 T82.
Game 5:
Tyler Green – Dirtbags Chin Music/2024/Sun Valley HS/ OF/RHP
Big physical kid in the box that can get the barrel to the ball. He displayed that by turning on an inside fastball, that ended up foul, but came off hard. On the mound his arm action does allow the hitter to pick the ball up right away. Today he had success with his fastball (76-78 T79) that showed cut from time to time.
Jaylen Brown – South Charlotte Braves/2022/Independence HS/SS
This guy stayed on base today. He was able to reach base in a variety of ways which made him a sparkplug for their offense. He demonstrated speed when he laid down a good drag bunt and also stole a couple bags. At shortstop he shows good actions and was always moving around.
