Great frame. Very balanced swing, aggressive approach. Saw him display all 5 tools today. Miami commit has a good shot to get drafted out of HS.
Mitchell Kahlenburg (Cuthbertson HS 2022 RHP)
Had really good sink to his FB. Really attacked hitters well today and forced weak contact. Threw a bunch of strikes and has a projectable frame to put on weight and velo.
Game 2:
Dirtbags 16U Signature vs. Dirtbags 17U checkmate
Alex Naylor (North Davidson 2023 INF)
Twitchy athlete. Hit the ball hard and showed off his run tool. Short swing with a lot of barrel accuracy. Has the chance to be really good once he grows, puts on weight and gets stronger. Above average defender.
Colby Humphries (Crest HS 2022 Catcher)
Plus defensive catcher, plus arm. Really composed behind the plate and looks to handle his pitchers really well. Squared the ball up well today.
Game 3:
Dirtbags 17U checkmate vs. Dirtbags 17U Prospect
Jake McGillvray (Porter Ridge 2022 OF) (Stetson Commit)
Plus bat speed from the left side. Takes violent hacks and squared the ball up well today. Very good approach at the plate looked to put his best swing on pitches consistently. Exciting player to watch. Should easily be able to put weight on his frame to add to his power tool.
Tristan Odham (Ashley 2022 OF)
Impressed today with his bat and his range in the OF. Every time I saw him he put the ball hard in play. Seemed to be on time and putting good swings on his pitches. Plus game speed stood out.
Field: Burlington Royals
Game 1:
Dirt Bags Skrap Pak vs Dirtbags All Blacks
Merritt Beeker (2021 North Davidson HS LHP) (ECU Commit)
Beeker was lights out in 4 innings of work giving up no runs. Lively fastball up to 92 mph.
Billy Barlow (2021 North Myrtle Beach RHP) (Clemson Commit)
Barlow was up to 91 with a great sinking fastball that he used with a hard biting slider.
Dalen Thompson (2021 Triton HS) (Campbell Commit)
Dude stands out! Lead off the game with a bunt single, then went 1st to 3rd on the next play. Dalen can be a game changer on the base path.
Dylan Koontz (2021 Hough HS RHP/INF) (Campbell Commit)
Dylan was 87-88 kept hitters off balance all day. Above average feel for his change up especially to left handed hitters, also mixed in a nice breaking ball with command.

Colby Shelton (2022 Bloomingdale HS INF) (Clemson Commit)
A two hit game for the young infielder. Plays elite defense with a strong throwing arm, and moves around the field extremely well.
Erik Richie (2021 Souderton Area HS LHP) (ECU Commit)
Dominate performance today. Arm side fastball run with true command of a breaking ball when needed.
Isael Garcia (2021 Deep Creek HS)
Kept the Skrap Pak off balance for the most part. Worked fastballs on both sides of the plate with a very nice breaking ball that he could throw for strikes.
K’Maugh Carr (2021 Wooddrow Wilson HS)
Big strong athletic player that has a ton of potential. Played a good CF and got multiple hits on the day.

Showed a nice and compact swing that resulted in a big time triple to left field. This guy is going to be someone to watch out for.
Jaxon Lucas (2023 Garner HS INF/RHP) (NC State Commit)
Great short swing hit with some wheels. Jaxon plays outstanding defense, with soft hands. Attacks the baseball with a great feel for the game.
JT Taylor (2023 Salisbury HS INF)
JT has outstanding actions at SS with good feet. Runs well and has a lot upside. This would definitely be a track and follow…
Coleman McGinnis (2023 Eastern Alamance HS)
Coleman keeps his hands back at the plate which resulted in a RBI single to right field. Moves well behind the plate with a good throwing arm as well.
Game 4:
Dirtbags 16u Punch Out vs Tidewater Titans
Jordan Wright (2024 Rocky Mount Academy)
Jordan has an outstanding ability to barrel the ball up. Had a multiple hit game with a big triple his first at bat. Wright also looked good in the OF making a few plays on the run.
Will Papciak (2023 Wesleyan HS)
Showed a good fastball 80-82 with a true swing and miss breaking ball. Very projectable build that I would keep my eye on.
Kalvin Monje (2022 Lake Taylor HS)
Started on the hill for the Titans and moved fastballs in and out and really pitched well, up to 79. Showed a sweeping slider that was in the low 60’s. Kalvin also handles the bat extremely well, and had himself a 3 hit game.
Kenneth Suero (2022 Kellam HS)
Super athletic build with room to grow. Went down in the zone and lined a ball all the way to the wall for a double to left center field.
Field: Swepsonville
Game 1:
Cobras Elite 2024 vs Dirtbags 15U Select
Sean Blackwell ( 2024 Jordan HS 2024, 1B/OF/RHP)
Blackwell started on the mound and shows good athletic upside for a 2024 arm especially when controlling the zone. He sat 70-73 with a low-mid 60s breaking ball, the arm will speed up as he grows into his plus size athletic frame.
Sean Loughery (2024 Bishop England (SC), INF/OF/RHP)
Loughery flashed a good young glove at SS with feel for the position and an accurate arm. The footwork is good and as he gains size the defensive ability will play up. There were some quick twitch aspects that showed up in the box, quick hands and solid discipline.
Will Beck (2024 Central Davidson HS INF/RHP)
Beck continued a hit weekend at the plate with multiple base hits while adding a couple of stolen bases. On both sides of the ball there are tools that will play up at a high level as he grows and gets older. Beck a plus athletic kid covers ground well at SS with quick hands and an above average 2024 arm. At the plate he showcased a balanced aggressive approach consistently barreling baseballs with a smooth short swing.
Jalen Jones #52 (2024 Lee HS OF/1B)
Jones is an above average sized 2024 with a ton of upside as he grows into his body and progresses learning the game. Plays a natural athletic CF and made an impressive diving catch to save a run in the middle of the game Sunday. At the plate there is pure pop in his bat coming off an aggressive swing generating plus bat speed. Big time upside for this kid as he cleans up some raw athletic actions.
Game 2:
Cobras Elite v. Legacy Baseball 2023
Cameron Stapleton (2024 Franklinton HS, OF/IF/RHP)
Stapleton had a good game at the plate in game 2, putting together a couple of base hits including an opposite field double. Stapleton is a big strong 2024 with a powerful compact swing at the dish.
Thomas Frazier (2024 Lee County HS C/Util)
Frazier was impressive behind the plate in game 2, showcasing a strong accurate arm and good adjustments blocking balls in the dirt. For a 2024 showed good feel for the game and plays extremely hard. Frazier also had a good day at the plate, including a roped 2B down the line for 2RBIs. The swing was aggressive but smooth when controlling the body, his hands are plus and generate good bat speed.
Paul Solari 1B/3B/RHP (2024 Nation Ford HS (SC))
Solari started on the mound showing good ability to live down in the zone early and while mixing in moderate feel for a breaking ball and change. The stuff will improves with age and gained velocity, but there was good signs of knowing how it pitch with his stuff and keep batters off balance. He also helped his own cause at the plate with a line drive RBI single up the middle. Solari had a balanced approach in the box and revealed good tools to build on.
Game 3:
Dirtbags All Black v. Dirtbags 17U Tapout
Jaheim Brown (2021 Louisburg HS RHP, NC A&T Commit)
Brown was completely dominant out of the bullpen for DB All Black team working 3 scoreless innings piling on the strikeouts. The arm works loose and effortless with an athletic under control delivery consistently on time with the lower half. He sat 85-88 and topped out at 89 with plus command of a jumpy fastball, coupled with a plus plus breaking ball (75-78) and a cutter (80-82). Brown’s breaking ball had above average action and velocity for HS arm, as well as being able to spot it on demand. Very high ceiling for this young guy
Colby Howell RHP (2021 Fuquay Varina HS RHP , Uncommitted)
Howell was also dominant on the mound in his appearance with great feel for the zone on both sides of the plate. Howell has a projectable lean build that he is still growing into but had clean mechanics joined with a fast arm action. His fast ball had late life at 84-87 using it well up and down in the zone, while spinning a curveball in the low 70s with good shape. Tremendous amount of upside going forward, learns a 3rd pitch could be dangerous for years to come.
Bryce Dolby RHP (2022 Independence HS RHP, Ole Miss Commit)
Dolby is a strong athletic kid on the mound that is body conscious through his delivery along with great feel for a 3 pitch mix. He sat 87-90 through out his start over powering batters up in the zone late in counts. The FB plays up even more off his tight sharp slider (71-75) and a change up with good depth at (75-78).
Jay Dillard MIF (2022 TL Hanna HS INF, Clemson Commit)
Dillard flashed a good glove in the middle infield through out the day effortlessly making all the routine plays with plus hands, while showcasing the ability to covert good range and a strong enough arm to give himself a chance. The Clemson commit runs well and plays the game with a high motor, game slows down for him when he sticks to simple approach at the plate adding a couple hits on the day.
Game 4:
Dirtbags 17U Tapout v. Legacy Baseball 2023
Will Banks RHP (2022 Hickory HS RHP)
Banks shows promising upside on the mound and has recently made big jumps with his velocity and secondary pitches. He sat 85-88 with a high spin FB(Top 89) through majority of his outing, joining that with good feel for CH/SL secondary mix. The slider was a good swing a miss pitch late in counts with plus late break at 74-77, while having some feel for a CH with a good action in mid 70s.
#34 Brady Turner LHP/OF (2022 Oak Grove HS LHP)
Turner slightly undersized on mound makes up for it with a body conscious aggressive delivery, while also showing the ability to stay in the zone while altering timing. Turner rolled through his relief appearance consistently owning the lower half of the zone in and out. He sat 82-85 with a heavy arm side run FB, which played up behind a sharp 12-6 breaking ball at 71-74. Once Turner got into a rhythm he couldn’t miss the strike zone , striking out 4 of last 5 batters he faced.
Tyler France RHP (2023 Oak Ridge HS, Uncommitted)
France sports a youthful tall and lean frame that shows potential for growth as he gains strength in years to come. He sat 75-78 with the FB and showed zone feel for a sweeping breakin ball in the high 60s. France got frequent weak contact when ahead in count and has chance for a good future if he continues to build on the base his has now.
